Then and Now

Ever looked back at a photo of yourself and noticed things you couldn’t see at the time? The way you held your body, how confident (or not) you felt, what season of life you were in? That’s what I love about shooting with people over the years. You start to see the shifts.

Here are just a few of these women I’ve photographed time and again. Through break-ups, pregnancies, career launches, or the early days of their self-awareness journey. It’s always an honour to witness and hold space for those moments.

For me too, I don’t shoot myself often but when I look back I can feel what was going on behind the scenes. I see it in how I stood, how I softened or closed off. It’s subtle sometimes, and other times it’s loud. Photos can hold so much more than we realise.
