The ultimate guide to reconnecting with yourself
There comes a moment in many women’s lives when the old ways stop fitting. Sometimes this isn’t always such a dramatic call, oftentimes it’s just a subtle tightening around the edges of who you’ve been unconsciously, until things start to rise to the surface, an ache for something truer starts making you take notice.
This guide is for the woman standing at the threshold.
The one who feels the pull toward reinvention, rebirth, or simply coming home to herself again.
What reconnection truly means
(or more so, what it’s not…)
When you stand at such a threshold, it can feel both unsettling and yet exciting too. The unknown can stir fear, and there’s also a subtle thrill in realising you’re being asked to recommit to yourself.
Understand this kind of return won’t happen overnight. It’s built through years of choosing alignment, again and again, until that choice ends up being a muscle you trust. Be gentle with yourself here. Offer patience, offer grace. This moment isn’t about becoming someone new entirely, but releasing what hasn’t been working for you and being aware of that.
Reconnection is not:
A personality overhaul
A spiritual identity performance
A quick fix, one time only
Reconnection is:
Listening and not pushing through
Choosing honesty with yourself over approval from others
Allowing yourself to be seen as you are, completely (this one can be a tough one!)
True reinvention begins with the understanding of who you are, and re-learning what your values are so you can start making changes.
The signs you’re ready for a personal rebirth
You might feel called for some change in your life and especially with yourself if:
You’ve outgrown versions of success that once motivated you
You crave depth over busyness
You feel disconnected from your body or image
You’re tired of being palatable
You want to be witnessed, not fixed
The key is to first understand and become aware of what you’re currently feeling, this could take some time to address or you may very well be clear of it already. What in your life are you ready to leave behind?
Here are a few simple exercises for yourself, to get clear on your vision.
Write a list of what truly matters to you what excites you, sparks curiosity, or feels like space to grow. Then list what drains you, people, activities, or habits that make you want to run.
Stand in front of a mirror and speak out loud. You are your greatest friend - or you should be! Share what you want to release and what you hope to create. Picture your future self, how she feels, what she wears, where she lives, what she enjoys, the relationships she has. Let yourself dream.
Reverse engineer your desires. Break them into small, achievable goals. If you want to lose weight, for example, pick steps that fit your capacity. Avoid overloading yourself, burnout is the fastest way to give up.
Celebrate small wins. Every step forward, however tiny, is proof you are moving in the right direction. Gratitude for progress fuels momentum.
Stay curious and flexible. Life rarely unfolds exactly as imagined, so allow room for detours, surprises, and lessons along the way. Adjust, learn, and keep moving toward your vision.
Prioritise Your Well-Being
It’s so easy to overbook your calendar with things to do, we’re in a time where that is seen as a ‘good’ thing, being productive, a busy social life, etc. However what’s really important is how you want your life to flow, so that it aligns with your wellbeing, not what the trends or people around you dictate. You choose.
Slower mornings on your days off
Mindful nutritional eating (enjoy your food and fuel your beautiful body)
Minimise phone scrolling (there are hundreds of other things you can do, really!)
Gift yourself a weekly or monthly treat (this might be reiki healings, massage, sauna time etc)
Attend connection circle events (being around others who are on similar journeys is invaluable)
Find an outlet for your mental health, whether that’s therapy, getting a coach or mentor, or sign up for meditation or breath work classes.
Get out of your comfort zone and book a shoot with me (when you’re ready).

Remember, you are allowed to begin again
You don’t need permission to change. You don’t need a dramatic reason to want more alignment. You don’t need to justify your desire to feel at home in yourself. Sometimes the most courageous act is allowing yourself to be seen in the midst of your becoming.
A closing thought
So, if you feel a pull toward reconnection, listen in. There will be many times in your life that this will come up again. We aren’t meant to stay the same, to struggle, to push through. You deserve happiness, you deserve to thrive in your body, your mind. You deserve relationships that are supportive and you also deserve to understand yourself better so you can grow into the woman you wish to be.
