women’s stories

She doesn’t know it yet, but..
In early 2025, a TikTok trend emerged—women posting photos before pivotal life moments with the words, “She doesn’t know it yet but…” It reminded me of the powerful shifts that often follow a shoot, when women keep rewriting their stories and deepening their relationship with themselves.

Then and Now
I love photographing people over the years and witnessing the quiet (and sometimes loud) shifts—through break-ups, pregnancies, career changes, and self-discovery. Photos hold more than we realise; they capture not just how we look, but the season of life we’re in.

Eilish
Eilish’s intention was to dream boldly and embody her unique essence, and the experience left her feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to her body.
“The best part was watching our ideas come to life and feeling the flow of inspiration,” she shared. Her advice to other women: “You don’t have to walk this journey alone. It’s about growing self-compassion and acceptance along the way.”

Sara
“My body is where I feel safe,” Sara shared, describing how movement helped her access deeper parts of herself and grow from self-judgment to gratitude. Her relationship with her body has evolved from struggle to acceptance—appreciating all its beauty and flaws.
In front of the camera, she felt liberated, empowered, and unapologetically herself. Her intention was to be fully present, experiencing the life and beauty within.
Looking back, the session helped her claim her space as a woman, releasing shame and embracing both her power and softness.

Karla
Karla used her session to reconnect with her femininity and embrace her body beyond society’s expectations. In front of the camera, she found freedom by focusing on her own expression.
Her intention was to embody love and sensuality, gaining confidence and self-acceptance.
“The best part was having fun and being fully present,” she shared.
Her advice: “Embrace your imperfections and see your body as sacred.”

Paula
During her early sunrise session, Paula embraced her soft, feminine side in nature, exploring new facets of herself with playfulness and self-love. She shared how this experience helped her balance her usual masculine energy and deepen her respect for her body, especially after motherhood.
Her advice to other women: “Honour where you are now and embrace the parts of you waiting to be discovered. Vulnerability leads to empowerment.”

Hannah
Hannah’s shoot was about honouring a sacred season — her body evolving to welcome new life. Drawn to the way Oasis captures women with beauty and depth, she trusted the process completely. From being styled in flowing, feminine outfits to feeling encouraged and guided in every pose, the experience left her feeling special, seen, and deeply celebrated.

Victoria
We’d rescheduled her shoot a few times during summer, due to life and weather.. when the day finally arrived, the rain poured down regardless, perfectly matching the moody, intentional energy this Scorpio woman carried into the session.
After a previous year of trauma, misaligned connections, and seeking external validation, she came to Oasis to create something just for herself. This shoot became more than photographs, it was a return to centre, a piece of her healing, and now, a visual reminder of her inherent value whenever she feels herself slipping back into the past.
